We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Senior Analyst, Finance (FP&A) to join our Finance team in Langley, BC.  

Reporting to the Director, Finance, you will be responsible for driving financial insights while collaborating with multiple business areas, shaping budgeting and forecasting processes, identifying risks/opportunities and driving improvements.
You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating the budgeting process across multiple departments and business units, while driving process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration.
  • Ensuring alignment of budgets with company-wide financial objectives and strategic goals, tailoring approaches to meet the needs of each business unit.
  • Analyzing complex, multi-business-unit budgets to identify risks, variances, and financial opportunities and providing actionable insights to leadership based on data analysis and emerging trends.
  • Managing the weekly forecasting process, consolidating input from key stakeholders across business units, providing detailed variance analysis and making adjustments where necessary. 
  • Supporting long-range financial planning efforts by preparing projections and scenario analysis.
  • Working with the Anaplan team to identify new features to simplify the budgeting process for business areas.
  • Building relationships across the business and serving as a liaison for Finance.

You have:

  • A CPA/CFA designation or MBA.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably in a large, multi-business-unit environment.
  • A strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes.
  • Experience with Anaplan or similar financial planning software is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft desktop applications, including advanced Excel skills and complex financial modelling.
  • Proficiency in understanding, documenting, and evaluating business processes.

  • Excellent at time management skills and can multitask effectively under tight project deadlines.
  • Able to act on own initiative, exercise sound judgment, and prioritize tasks.

Compensation Details:

$81,920.00 - $102,400.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
