Are you passionate about technology and determined to put cyber hackers out of business?

We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Security Solution Architect (Pre-Sales) for our Vancouver branch and broader interior BC area! In this consulting and leadership role, you will design, architect and implement solutions within the Long View security portfolio.  

A Day in the Life:

  • Identify client requirements through your strong business and technical consulting skills and implement innovative and highly differentiated solutions
  • Design, architect, and implement proven solutions that will solve business challenges in the fields of business continuity, IT resilience, and IT risk management
  • Generate detailed documentation including conceptual design, logical design, physical design, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, and transition to operations’ needs
  • Work as a subject matter expert to deliver projects from initiation to successful implementation
  • Assist with pre-sales engagements and qualification of sales opportunities
  • Work with Long View business units and practices to ensure security opportunities progress efficiently and in a timely fashion towards successful closure

What You Bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in the field of IT security and managed security services
  • Experience in operations, sales, pre-sales, architecture, advisory and management of IT security initiatives
  • Experience in Microsoft Defender XDR, Palo Alto, Trend Micro, CrowdStrike, Cisco XDR, Cisco Umbrella, Cisco AnyConnect, Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Symantec
  • Intimate understanding of vulnerability analysis procedures and deliverables
  • First-hand experience with data breaches and escalation processes, both organizationally and legally
  • Extensive experience in rolling out network security solutions such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, two-factor authentication, Security Incident Management (SIM) solutions, vulnerability management, firewall migrations, BCM/DRP
  • Strong knowledge of governance, risk and compliance including ISO 27001 ISMS
  • An understanding of the environment and challenges of IT operations in typical mid-market corporation
  • Experience in building, positioning and delivering professional services at a solution provider
  • Ability to work in complex environments with subject matter experts and other technical disciplines
  • Knowledge of toolsets appropriate for application and infrastructure assessments performance, security and capacity planning
  • Strong leadership skills, strong sense of urgency and a creative mindset
