Job Summary

This role is tasked with providing daily support, troubleshooting, and ensuring the seamless operation of our SAP system. The SAP Support Analyst assists in resolving issues related to SAP and associated applications and will participate in the upgrade to SAP S/4 HANA. This position is crucial for maintaining system performance, enhancing user experience, and supporting efficient business processes and documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for SAP applications, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system maintenance.
  • Assist end-users with SAP functionality and resolve any application-related issues.
  • Monitor SAP system performance and work proactively to identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Manage and prioritize support tickets, ensuring timely resolution of all issues.
  • Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver appropriate technical solutions.
  • Assist in master data maintenance and error resolution in the system.
  • Support the IS team in ensuring seamless integration between SAP, external systems (Intuiflow, PLM), and legacy systems using APIs and SQL queries..
  • Conduct root cause analysis of recurring issues to come up with long-term solutions.
  • Maintain documentation and procedures for SAP processes and troubleshooting steps.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on new SAP functionalities or processes.
  • Assist with SAP user access management, role assignments, and security troubleshooting
  • Work closely with Corporate IT Teams in Taiwan and US to oversee UATs and manage change processes, and drive improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a SAP Support Analyst or in a similar technical support role within an SAP environment.
  • Experience with 1 or 2 full lifecycle SAP implementation or support projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of ABAP programming for troubleshooting and customizations.
  • SAP Functional knowledge in any one of other SAP modules (e.g., SAP PP, SAP SD, SAP FICO, etc.).
  • Strong SAP troubleshooting and analytical skills, including experience with transports, debugging, and performance analysis.
  • Technical knowledge of SAP development components, including tables, function modules, BAPIs, user exits, and basic SAP integration technologies (IDocs, APIs, or middleware).
  • Good understanding of business processes and SAP’s role in supporting operational workflows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to support both technical and nontechnical users; SAP certification is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to learning, while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SAP HANA or other SAP Platform.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with multipart BOMs.
  • Understanding of product lifecycle management

Work Location: Required on-site for the first 6 months, then hybrid (In-office 3 days per week, subject to change)
City: Surrey
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: 75,000 - 95,000 CAD
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside this range and is dependent on various factors.
