As a Salesforce Developer at Hiive, you will lead the technical evolution of our Salesforce platform—building robust, scalable solutions that power our fast-growing business. You’ll work cross-functionally to design, develop, and optimize Salesforce customizations and integrations that drive automation and operational efficiency. If you're passionate about clean code, elegant solutions, and making systems work smarter, we’d love to have you on board! As a note: we are open to hiring a Senior Salesforce Developer for this role.

In this role, your responsibilities would include:

  • Designing and developing custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, and Visualforce.

  • Implementing automation using Flows, Process Builder, and Apex triggers to streamline business processes.

  • Building and maintaining integrations between Salesforce

  • Writing scalable, maintainable code and conducting peer code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.

  • Supporting the full development lifecycle—including design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation.

  • Optimizing system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring platform stability through proactive monitoring and support.

  • Managing technical aspects of Salesforce upgrades and releases, ensuring seamless adoption of new features.

  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation for custom code, integrations, and architecture decisions.

  • Working closely with Salesforce Administrators and other internal teams to ensure alignment between functional needs and technical delivery.

  • Staying up-to-date with Salesforce development best practices, new features, and evolving platform capabilities.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years in Salesforce administration or development.

  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, IT) with a strong academic record.

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce Platform Developer II, or Salesforce Platform App Builder.

  • Advanced skills with advanced Salesforce tools including Flow, assignment rules, Visualforce, and Apex.

  • Ability to manage development and deployment from Sandbox to Production environments.

  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software applications, systems, and processes.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient, with a strong ability to manage and process large datasets, including data import/exports and migrations.
