In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and manage the account strategy that is focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Each day, you will coordinate sales activities, monitor current projects, and manage the resolution of specific customer problems. You will also showcase your expertise by giving input on market price developments, technology evolutions, and new accounts.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid - Outside Sales

This role is contributing to the Electrification Installation Products - Utility Segment Sales

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and Statement of Work growth actions.

  • You will be accountable to deploy new technology in exiting ABB accounts and acquire new customers for the utility business

  • Understanding the key business drivers, including significant and emerging business risks (e.g., sustainability/digital/cybersecurity) of the relevant global customer’s business and business environment, translating them into the corresponding impacts and opportunities for ABB.

  • Participating in the development of sales strategies for the account through providing current business and long-term plans for the customer.

  • Defining sales targets, giving input on market price developments monitoring competitors’ activity with the account and ensuring that appropriate response strategies are implemented.

  • Creating demand by ensuring the ABB specifications are adopted in the competitive landscape.

Qualifications for the role:

  • You are highly skilled in building long term relationships with Engineers and other professionals; C-Suite and other upper management in the Electrical Utility market.

  • You are passionate about sustainability and desire to be an active contributor to ensure a stable, safe and resilient electricity grid.

  • You have a minimum of 5 years experience in Technical Sales, with a track record of executing complex proposals for technical solutions.

  • Highly adept in Microsoft Office 356 and salesforce.com.

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience. A full understanding of medium and low voltage electrical systems.
