Purpose and Impact

  

The Sales Analyst supports the Sales team by delivering timely, data-driven insights that inform strategic decision-making. This role plays a critical part in analyzing performance, identifying trends, and uncovering opportunities to strengthen Sleeman Breweries’ market presence. Through collaboration and strong analytical capabilities, the role enables the Sales team to maximize growth and execution.

  

Responsibilities 

Sales Analysis & Insights 

  • Analyze sales performance, market share, pricing, and promotional effectiveness to identify trends and growth opportunities 
  • Develop and maintain sales forecasts, volume targets, and distribution plans to support regional strategy 

Reporting & Business Support 

  • Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports to support sales meetings, planning cycles, and strategic initiatives 
  • Create and maintain analytical tools to track trade spending across customers, regions, and territories 

Systems & Data Management 

  • Provide technical support for CRM and BI systems, ensuring data accuracy and system integration (e.g., Oracle, Apex) 
  • Perform regular data audits and partner with Sales teams to ensure customer and account data is current and accurate 

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement 

  • Support system enhancements and recommend improvements to CRM and BI tools to increase efficiency and usability 
  • Deliver training and guidance to Sales teams on systems and reporting tools to improve adoption and effectiveness 

Skills and Qualifications (Required) 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales analysis, reporting, or a related analytical role 
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate insights 
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel 
  • Experience with CRM, BI, or ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft CRM, Oracle) is an asset 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights 
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate across teams 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 

Work Environment (Hybrid/Onsite) 
This is a hybrid role with a mix of in-office collaboration and remote work. Occasional travel may be required.
