Job Description:

Managing the render farm to ensure all productions can meet their deadlines. Coordinate with
various stakeholders to resolve issues and implement improvements in performance, reliability
and process.

Job Duties:

- Minimum 2 Years Experience managing a render farm
- Experience with Shotgrid
- Familiarity with Maya, Nuke and Houdini
- Ensure the render farm is operating to the best of its ability.
- Plan, coordinate and monitor resources to ensure they are appropriately allocated in order to
meet deadlines.
- Monitor for issues with jobs and nodes, resolving them or coordinating with stakeholders to get
them resolved in a timely manner.
- Assist artists and production with any requests or problems.
- Perform cleanup on the render farm as needed
- Analyze trends to identify areas of improvement

Requirements:

- Strong communication and organization
- Ability to learn quickly
- Troubleshooting/problem-solving
- Reliable and proactive
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Alternating support on weekends

The wage range for this role reflects compensation across all of ICON’s projects. The final salary will be determined based on the specific position, the current show assignment, and the applicant’s experience and portfolio. This range accounts for varying levels of experience and responsibilities.
