  • Proactively review proposed scope changes or modifications in project scope, assessing potential quality or constructability impacts.

  • Participate in project postmortems and lessons-learned sessions to identify successful strategies and areas for improvement.

  • Work closely with the Product, Construction, Development and Sales teams to ensure alignment between construction quality, contract commitment, and quality standards.

  • Oversee internal pre-acceptance inspections and coordinate deficiency rectification to ensure a defect-free product at handover.

  • Monitor warranty processes and regulations, ensuring timely resolution of warranty issues and compliance with industry standards.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on customer care, construction practices, and overall product quality.

  • Maintain thorough documentation of inspections, deficiencies, resolutions, and warranty-related activities.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong understanding of building codes, warranty regulations, and industry standards related to residential construction such as BC Residential Construction Performance Guide.

  • Proficiency in drafting and utilizing reports using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with project management/reporting, and home inspection tools such as Salesforce, Onyx, Procore or similar systems.

  • Independent, trustworthy, and highly organized with a strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners.

  • Passion for construction quality, continuous improvement, and delivering high-value products.

  • Ability to interpret construction documents, specifications, and technical drawings accurately.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in residential or commercial construction with a focus on quality assurance, site inspections, or warranty oversight.

  • Experience working on high-end or luxury developments is preferred.
