Job Summary
We are seeking a Junior or Mid-Level Project Controls Specialist (Scheduler) to work for our PMCM group on various projects. This position will be based in our main office in San Diego with a remote work option. field offices and project sites will be visited as needed.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in logistical and delivery and work force planning with project personnel, and incorporate into a CPM schedule using Primavera P6 Software.
- Review and provide comment on contractor prepared baseline, update and recovery schedules using Primavera P6 Software.
- Maintain liaison with client and other consultants at all project stages.
- Identify improvements for schedule procedures, templates and products, and refer ideas to appropriate line manager.
- Utilize Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Principles and experience to develop Work Breakdown Structures and work with project staff to facilitate development of the project schedule
- Use EVMS to evaluate the performance of the project by analyzing significant schedule, budget and/or resource variances from the baseline plan
- Forecast impacts of variances to aid in the management of the schedule
- Use the cost loaded schedule as the basis of billings
- Utilize Primavera P6 scheduling software to update and document schedule performance
- Monitor and status schedule progress

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $80,400- $160,300 annually for this position and local market.
