Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX: 


As the Program Manager, Operational Planning, you will be responsible for capturing requests from Commercial Leadership and prioritizing retail program development to support delivery to retail teams. By providing operational support in weekly and bi-weekly sync call series you will create a holistic view of the required programs and support the Operational Solutions Leadership in execution. Your role includes developing and maintaining processes to track the impact and health of retail programs, managing project briefs, executive summaries, and the associated tools. Through partnership with key cross functional partners you will scope and sequence retail program delivery to our global stores at the right time.

 

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

If you were the Program Manager, Operational Planning now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Creating and managing the operational planning tracker and associated project briefs and executive summaries for all retail impacting programming.
  • Intake program enhancement requests from Commercial Leadership through structured processes and meeting participation.
  • Providing operational support for weekly and bi-weekly sync call series with HQ partners. 
  • Developing KPIs to track the impact and operational health of all retail programs and workstreams. 
  • Collaborating with the Program Manager, Retail Calendar to sequenceand scope retail programs. 
  • Supporting Commercial Leadership in the prioritization of retail program development.
  • Assisting Operational Solutions Leadership in the operational development and execution of retail programming. 

Are you our next Program Manager, Operational Planning?

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in businessor a related field. 
  • You have 5+ years’ experience in project management or retail operations, focussed on initiative or operations planning, or equivalent role. 
  • You have a deep understanding of retail operations, processes, and challenges impacting global retail employees.
  • You are proficient in customizing and optimizing project management tools, such as Smartsheet, Monday.com, etc., preferably within a vertical retail environment. 
  • You have proven experience in creating and executing project plans, managing timelines, and driving internal alignments and decisions. 
  • You have effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. 
  • You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right.
