Job Description:
We are looking for a Product Owner to join our team. You will help us executing the product roadmap, prioritizing, writing business requirements and user stories, coordinating day-to-day activities for our school accounting, payments, and donations suite, used by thousands of schools and over a million parents and guardians across North America. Responsibilities:
You will work with the Product Manager to:
- Execute the product roadmap
- Meet with end users and stakeholders to understand their problems and analyze product data and usage patterns to identify opportunities
- Define requirements, prioritize tickets and set expectations to deliver high value solutions
- Own the deployment process, release notes, and collateral for internal education
- Perform product demos
- Drive end-to-end product development to execute product initiatives
Requirements and Skills:
- 2-3 years of product management experience
- Experience with Agile development processes, writing user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Previous responsibility for day-to-day interactions with large or multiple development teams clarifying requirements and trouble-shooting issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret market needs and translate them into requirements that can use to inform technical designs
- Long-term thinking to day-to-day interactions and decisions
- Detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to prioritize under deadlines
- Strong desire for continuous learning and growth
You’re Extra Awesome With:
- Accounting background.
- Have experience in the K-12 market.
- Have Edtech or similar industry experience.
- Have experience with WalkMe, Pendo or similar DAP software.
- Have experience with JIRA or Azure DevOps.
