The mission of the Materials Department is to deliver a portfolio of materials that fulfill the creative vision.  

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing and our Materials team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for sourcing and identifying a portfolio of fabrics to bring Aritzia’s product to life. You will play a pivotal role in determining what fabric Aritzia uses, and ensuring it delivers on Aritzia’s standards for high quality, timely delivery, and healthy margins. THE ROLE

As the Manager/Senior Manager, Fabric, you will lead the team to:

  • Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.
  • Determine the approach for sourcing fabrics that fulfill the design vision.
  • Secure the best possible quality materials against defined standards, using industry leading practices.
  • Secure the best possible lead times for materials without compromising quality.
  • Secure the best possible materials margins without compromising lead-time and quality.
  • Ensure the high quality, timely, and cost-effective delivery of all materials prior to finished goods production.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Manager/Senior Manager, Fabric, has:

  • Proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience in sourcing and identifying fabrics, in addition to lead-time and margin negotiation with suppliers
  • A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
  • The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners
  • A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business

THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $100,000-$150,000 per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
