Agility Robotics is a pioneer. Our robot, Digit, is the first to be sold into workplaces across the globe. Our team is differentiated by its expertise in imagining, engineering, and delivering robots with advanced mobility, dexterity, intelligence, and efficiency -- robots specifically designed to work alongside people, in spaces built for people. Every day, we break through engineering challenges and invent new solutions and capabilities that will one day make robots commonplace and approachable. This work is our passion and our responsibility: our mission is to make businesses more productive and people’s lives more fulfilling.

About The Role

Our product team is growing rapidly and we are looking for a talented product manager to join our agile, world-class team. Agility Robotics is looking for a Product Manager to support the robotics skills and solutions teams. In this role, the Product Manager will be in charge of defining requirements for specific custom skills implementations and for defining and capturing solution requirements related to integrations, deployments and other areas of robotic deployments. This is a customer facing role, and offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of customer needs and requirements and technical implementation.
In addition, the product manager will support scoping requirements for customer engagements, from POCs, all the way to production deployments. The role will be highly tactical and impactful for the successful implementation of Digit in real world environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define Product Requirements: Define product level requirements for the robot application level software, API and equipment integrations and required tooling. Create and manage product requirements in Jira, with clear user stories and acceptance criteria. Work closely with scrum teams to break down product requirements into engineering tasks and with UI designers for concepting, storyboarding, and mockups. Translate customer and internal needs into clear, actionable technical specifications.
  • Customer pilots support: Collaborate on commercial engagements, ensuring that the scope of early customer engagements can be translated into repeatable and generalizable requirements for the product. Support the breakdown of customer requirements into platform requirements. Collaborate with the product leads to ensure customer requirements are accounted for in the platform roadmaps. Must understand customer requirements, KPIs, infrastructure, and operational constraints of customer environments.
  • Support broader skill development strategy: Work with other Product Managers to support the evaluation of custom skill implementations to generic skills that work across the whole Agility solution.
  • Agile execution: Support agile development teams as product owner and key resource for backlog grooming, refinement, and scrum planning. Run demos and approve releases of core dev teams.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as the key liaison between engineering, design, commercial, and customers. Facilitate clear communication to keep everyone focused on delivering valuable, customer-driven features.
  • Work with a Remote Team and Department: Collaborate effectively with remote teams and departments across multiple time zones. Ensure smooth communication, alignment on goals, and effective execution of tasks.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MS, PhD) a plus.
  • 3+ years as a Product Manager, preferably in robotics, devices, IoT, or AI products for B2B.
  • Managed the lifecycle of a software product through multiple release cycles.
  • A strong customer focus for understanding customer needs and translating them into clear, concise, and actionable product requirements.
  • Strong experience in tactical execution—breaking down high-level goals into detailed, actionable features and managing them through to completion.
  • Experience writing Product Requirement Documents and Jira initiatives/epics for feature definition.
  • Experience managing a product backlog and iterative software releases.
  • Analytical skills to quantify impact of features and utilize data for prioritization.
  • Experience in Agile development, having served as Product Owner on multiple scrum teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You may have
  • Experience working with a remote team.
  • Experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing or related industries.
  • Experience working with humanoid robot platforms, or any robotics-related hardware development.
  • Familiarity with robot software, simulation, and testing platforms.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience using project management tools like Jira or Confluence.
