Job Description
Are you passionate about MEMS and microfabrication? Do you have hands-on experience in wafer processing and want to apply your expertise to real-world manufacturing challenges?
Teledyne MEMS is seeking a Product Engineer to join our team in Edmonton and take ownership of the technical performance of MEMS products in volume manufacturing. This is a long-term career opportunity for someone who thrives on solving yield issues, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating across engineering and production teams.
We’re looking for someone with:
A PhD or MSc in Engineering or Science with a focus on MEMS wafer fabrication
Industrial experience in MEMS or semiconductor manufacturing (preferred)
A desire to grow within the company — not just use this role as a stepping stone
A passion for yield improvement, process optimization, and cross-functional problem solving
What You’ll Do
Own the technical interface for assigned production customers
Manage product specifications, change control, and documentation
Lead failure analysis, yield improvement, and cost reduction initiatives
Support the transition of MEMS products from development to manufacturing
Collaborate with project managers, quality, production, and executive teams
