The Opportunity

We're seeking a Pipelayer to join our team in the Fraser Valley, supporting civil construction projects across the region.

As a Pipelayer, you’ll work alongside a skilled crew in the field to deliver high-quality work. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building their skills, working outdoors, and being part of projects that shape communities.

  • Rig and hoist pipe sections safely, ensuring proper securing and support.
  • Install various pipe systems, including water mains, sanitary sewers, storm drains, etc.
  • Assist in trench preparation and grading—both manual labor and in coordination with equipment operators.
  • Install and assemble manholes and catch basins.
  • Work independently and within a team, taking ownership of tasks without constant supervision.
  • Maintain a clean and safe worksite at all times.
  • Attend and actively participate in daily and weekly site meetings.

Your Qualifications & Skills

  • Willingness to learn.
  • Comfortable working around heavy equipment.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Proven ability to work effectively and safely in a team environment.

  • Valid Canadian driver’s license with a clean abstract required.
  • First Aid Training an asset.

What We Offer

The chance to be part of landmark projects that shape communities across British Columbia, while building your career with a company that’s been trusted for over 85 years. As part of the Emil Anderson Group of companies, you’ll join a culture where people are more than employees – they’re contributors, owners, and leaders. Here, you’ll have opportunities to learn from industry experts, grow your skills, and make a lasting impact across a diverse range of projects.

  • Union hourly rate: $39.29–$41.29 per hour.
  • Union benefits package.
  • Training and career development opportunities.
  • Annual safety recognition and employee appreciation programs.

Safety & Compliance

Safety is our highest priority. All employees are expected to work in compliance with company safety policies and WorkSafeBC regulations, wear appropriate PPE, and participate in toolbox talks and safety training, where applicable.
