The mission of the Learning & Development Department is to train our people to maximize performance and potential in pursuit of a high performing culture.  

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing and our Learning & Development team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for providing best-in-class, business driven learning and development offerings for our people. As the Sr. Instructional Designer / Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for shaping how our people learn by working with leaders and subject matter experts to produce high quality, specialized training solutions to maximize learning outcomes. THE ROLE

As the Senior Instructional Designer / Instructional Designer, Learning & Development you will:

  • Partner with the business to identify clear learning outcomes for training
  • Design the optimal training experience to ensure the solution maximizes learning and business needs
  • Evaluate the learning objectives to determine the most effective, efficient and engaging modality for delivery
  • Determine the structural components for each modality to organize and reinforce learning topics
  • Lead and oversee the construction of training modalities to ensure the intended learning experience is achieved
  • Oversee the development of detailed components to ensure that the intended learning experience is achieved

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Senior Instructional Designer / Instructional Designer, Learning & Development, has:

  • Proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience in learning design
  • A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
  • The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners
  • A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business

THE COMPENSATION

At Aritzia, we provide market-leading compensation packages designed to reward impact through our pay-for-performance philosophy.
The range for roles at this level is $50,000–$150,000 per year. Total compensation may include base, bonus and/or equity depending on the role, which has the potential to be greater than this range.
