About This Job
Air and Space Force Solutions, a business unit within BAE Systems, has an opening at our Hill Air Force Base, Utah location for an IT Network Project Manager. The selected candidate will join our Information Services team and have an important role in supporting our mission of Strategic Deterrence through continual improvement and innovation. The position will have the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in the development of current and future program requirements
  • Evaluate plans and criteria for technical activities and recommend alternatives as required to comply with customer and company obligations
  • Model and demonstrate strong leadership in ethics, safety and security
  • Coach and mentor employees, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures
  • Communicate with all levels of company leadership to address issues and drive projects to completion
  • Communicate complex technical details to a non-technical audience
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards, adhering to legal regulations
  • Manage risks and opportunities and ensure that best practices are followed
  • Direct, integrate, manage, and track program and project activities, including segments of major projects
  • Prepare program roadmaps, project execution plans and identify technical and business resources
  • Identify technology opportunities and coordinate system and application strategies
  • Define and improve process flows to realize efficiencies for BAE Systems and the customer
  • Review status of projects, manage schedules and prepare status reports
  • Assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives
  • Develop trusted relationships with internal and external customers; communicate daily with internal and external customers related to assigned program areas

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Required Education, Experience, & Skills for this Position:

  • High School Diploma and 14+ years of related work experience
  • Bachelor's Degree (typically computer science, information technologies, etc.) and 10+ years of progressive technical experience
  • MS Degree and 8+ years of related experience
  • Technical knowledge of systems, networks, and application security, as well as a solid understanding of enterprise-level security frameworks, policies, processes, and standards
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work across teams and in a cross-functional environment to accomplish schedule-driven priorities on time
  • Experience interfacing and briefing customer and upper management
  • Experience or knowledge of cybersecurity, networks, system components, system protocols, COTS technology, and software development
  • Effective organizational, time management, and communications skills (written and verbal)
  • Previous experience leading and managing a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Fast learner with ability to quickly comprehend technology and understand unique system requirements

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $106654 - $181311
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
