Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:


As the Mobile App Lead, you will shape and refine the strategic direction of the Arc’teryx Mobile App while overseeing its daily operations. You will be responsible for optimizing app performance, enhancing user engagement and retention, driving business growth through product marketing strategies, and defining and delivering on a roadmap that is in alignment with business goals. Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and various stakeholders to deliver an exceptional mobile app experience for our guests and maintain Arc’teryx’s position as a leader in the outdoor apparel industry. You will work cross-functionally and drive the future evolution of the mobile app including growing and nurturing a loyal user base and delivering an exceptional user experience for our guests.


This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada. 


Meet Your Future Team:

 

The Digital Experience team works cross-functionally across the business to deliver new and improved digital experiences for Arc'teryx branded sites and apps. We create new experiences as well as maintain and improve existing experiences, always considering how our work relates to other channels while using consumer trends, business objectives, and data to direct our thinking and decision making. 

If you were in the Mobile App Lead role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Developing roadmaps in collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional partners that are in alignment with business goals and user needs
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize features and initiatives based on strategic objectives and resource constraints
  • Ensuring the roadmap reflects market trends, competitive analysis, and user feedback
  • Overseeing the execution of the app roadmap and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of initiatives and identify areas for improvement
  • Generating regular reports and presentations to communicate progress, insights, and recommendations to senior management
  • Collaborating with the UXUI design team to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience
  • Providing input on wireframes, prototypes, and design iterations to optimize usability and user satisfaction
  • Supporting user experience research efforts by providing input on research objectives, methodologies, and findings, incorporating insights into product decisions and feature prioritization
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance user engagement and retention through feature enhancements and personalized experiences
  • Analyzing user behavior and feedback to inform product decisions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional partners to implement targeted engagement campaigns
  • Facilitating communication and alignment across teams to ensure the timely delivery of app updates and enhancements

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Developing and implementing App Store Optimization (ASO) strategies to improve app visibility and maximize downloads
  • Conducting keyword research, optimizing metadata, and A/B testing app store assets for optimal performance
  • Collaborating with marketing teams to develop comprehensive product marketing plans that leverage various channels to effectively market the app
  • Exploring AI powered personalization strategies to deliver tailored content and recommendations to users
  • Collaborating with marketing and retail teams to ensure consistency and synergy across all customer touchpoints to provide a seamless omnichannel shopping experience
  • Coordinating with Guest Service teams to provide timely and effective assistance to app users, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues

Are you our next Mobile App Lead?

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications or a related field
  • You have 5+ years of digital or Ecommerce experience
  • You have a proven hands-on track record in Ecommerce, Digital Product Management, or User Experience in the outdoor industry 
  • You have experience developing product roadmaps, performing competitive analyses, and delivering road maps from ideation to launch and optimization
  • You have experience working directly with web and app development teams delivering products and/or enhancements with a strong familiarity with web, mobile, and Ecommerce technology 
  • You have proven experience in mobile app management and possess project/product management skills with experience working with agile delivery teams
  • You have a strong understanding of ASO techniques and best practices
  • You have a familiarity with mobile app development and release processes, mobile analytics, and user research methodologies
  • You are able to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners working towards shared business outcomes 
  • You possess strong presentation and communication skills to effectively engage across various departments
  • You are always thinking in the shoes of the guests, with their experience as top priority
