JLL is seeking a results-driven Marketing & Partnership Specialist who will build and nurture key external marketing relationships to enhance property visibility and generate increased traffic through strategic partnerships, community engagement, and innovative tourism initiatives.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Drive external marketing initiatives to enhance property visibility and attract target audiences
Collaborate with Speciality Leasing to look for ways to incorporate revenue opportunities where possible within centre events / programs and partnerships
Develop and implement strategic destination marketing plans to increase traffic and stimulate retailer sales
Build and maintain relationships with travel trade, hospitality partners, and regional tourism organizations
Leverage opportunities for community relations, partnerships, and sponsorships with key local events, charities, and business groups
Coordinate cross-promotional activities between the property and external partners
Prepare and manage contracts for community and third-party partnerships
Represent the property at networking events and industry functions
Develop strategies to increase tourist shopper spending and length of visit
Gather and analyze tourism statistics and research to support marketing and leasing objectives
Plan and facilitate familiarization tours for media, event planners, and tour operators
Design and implement tactical programs aimed at the tourist market
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure partnership initiatives support overall property objectives
Support for marketing programs as required.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Degree in Marketing, Hospitality or related field, or equivalent experience in marketing, tourism, or business development.
3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
Strong organizational and event coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently.
Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure, maintaining accuracy and quality.
Understanding of travel trade industry is considered an asset
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Skilled storyteller with persuasive abilities.
Professional judgment, strong work ethic, and a results-driven attitude.
Strong interest in partnerships and tourism industry
Collaborative and team-oriented with a positive attitude, sense of humor, and resilience.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Community business development or sponsorship/revenue generation experience is preferred.
Requirements & Conditions
Domestic travel as required.
Flexible to work weekends and evenings as needed.
This is a business development role with the expectation that approximately 80% of time spent will be out in market networking and meeting with potential partners.

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
