Position Overview:Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights and driving marketing performance?
As a Marketing Analytics Specialist, you’ll manage analytics services, execute campaigns, and optimize digital strategies across multiple platforms. This role combines hands-on execution with advanced analytics to deliver measurable results and enhance Finning’s marketing capabilities.
The individual would manage our external contractors and agency partners, as they support our day-to-day execution of campaigns, tagging, tracking and reporting. The individual along with our vendor partners would be platform administrators on our marketing platform, Adobe Analytics & Google Analytics.
This role offers a base salary of $90,000–$120,000 annually, plus a 15% annual bonus opportunity. Total rewards package includes additional benefits and contributions;

Job Description:
  • Execute and optimize digital marketing campaigns across platforms like Google Ads and social media.
  • Manage and analyze data from Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and other tools to measure performance.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in PowerBI to track KPIs and campaign ROI.
  • Lead website analytics implementation, tagging strategies, and data governance across Finning’s digital ecosystem.
  • Full responsibility for web analytics needs across customer analytics platforms. Ensure we are collecting the right web analytics data by designing tagging strategies and helping translate analytics requirements from the business into new variables for developers to implement.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness and customer engagement.
  • Dive into multiple data sources such as web analytics (Adobe Analytics, Google analytics), CRM, social, email, paid media (ex. Display), Google Ads to understand marketing attribution and performance of our ads.
  • Ensure teams have KPIs, dashboards and ad-hoc analysis to understand digital customer behavior, the insights and recommendations on goal performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of marketing analytics and execution experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI and familiarity with SQL/DAX for data analysis.
  • Experience with tagging technologies (Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager) and campaign platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Important:

  • This position is based out of our Vancouver or Edmonton head office location.
  • Permanent, full-time role.
  • Monday – Friday, (5x2) schedule.
