This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and taking ownership. We are looking for an individual with the ambition and capability to grow into a broader operational leadership role as the organization continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Operations, Warehouse, and Logistics teams.
  • Coordinate the daily movement of outbound shipments across multiple carriers and service providers.
  • Monitor shipment queues to ensure orders are dispatched accurately and on schedule.
  • Coordinate priority, urgent, and VIP shipments while ensuring service level commitments are met.
  • Monitor shipment tracking and proactively resolve delays, delivery exceptions, and carrier issues.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure all logistics activities are completed in accordance with established SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate carrier service changes, holiday schedules, and operational impacts to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate shipment documentation and records.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics performance reports and KPI dashboards.
  • Conduct routing analysis and identify opportunities to improve transit times, service levels, and transportation costs.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending solutions.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with Operations, Customer Care, Pharmacy Partners, and external logistics providers to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
  • Assist with special projects and operational initiatives as required.
  • Support the development and documentation of new logistics processes as the business grows.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, warehouse operations, or a related operational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend practical solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience working with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), or ERP systems is considered an asset.
  • Experience in a regulated industry, healthcare, or pharmaceutical environment is an asset.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate is someone who naturally takes ownership, builds strong working relationships, and enjoys improving how work gets done. They are dependable, proactive, and eager to learn. As Group Medical continues to grow, this role offers the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and develop into a future operations or logistics leadership position.
