Zipline is a well-funded and quickly growing SaaS company that works with many of the world’s top retailers across many industries. We have best-in-class NPS and CSAT scores, and our customers rave about us. Plus, we are a fully remote company with employees all over Canada, the United States and beyond!
At Zipline, we believe that great communication is the backbone of successful retail operations. That is why we built a platform that helps teams from HQ to the frontline stay aligned, engaged, and equipped to do their best work. Our Education & Enablement team carries that mission forward by ensuring our customers do not just use Zipline, they master it.

We are looking for an experienced instructional designer and content strategist to join us as our Learning Program Manager. In this role, you will design engaging, scalable learning experiences for our customers through our internal LMS (Learning). You’ll own the creation of Learning Courses, Tracks and Events, as well as our customer certification program, Zipline University. Lastly, you’ll be a core member of the working group responsible for the creation of high-impact content for webinars, videos, and our annual customer conference.

This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of instructional design, program management, and customer engagement. You will build learning content that drives adoption and deliver experiences that inspire.

What You’ll Do
  • Instructional design (non-negotiable): Create and maintain clear, engaging, and outcomes-driven learning content in our LMS (Learning) and for the Zipline University certifications.
  • Project ownership: Scope, plan, and execute deliverables end to end, managing timelines, flagging risks early, and ensuring commitments are met without sacrificing quality.
  • Standards and formats: Design SCORM-compliant content to ensure scalability and seamless integration into our learning systems.
  • Measurement and improvement: Define success metrics for learning initiatives, analyze engagement and feedback, and continuously improve program effectiveness.
  • Strategic growth: Contribute to the long-term vision of Zipline University by scaling certification, webinar, and learning programs to meet customer demand.
  • Conference and event content: Partner with customers and internal teams to ideate, storyboard, and design impactful presentations and slides for our annual customer conference.
  • Video content: Develop, script, and edit short-form educational videos for customers using tools such as iMovie and Canva.
  • Product knowledge: Deeply understand Zipline’s product, how customers use it across industries and roles, and translate that knowledge into clear, practical learning experiences.
  • Cross-functional influence: Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to align learning programs with business priorities, proactively surface risks, and ensure customer insights inform strategy.
  • Webinar program: Develop educational webinar content, coordinate logistics, and confidently host live webinars that teach and engage customers using Zoom.
  • Tooling and systems fluency: Confidently use Zipline, iMovie, ScreenStudio, Slack, Jira, Canva and Google Suite to manage work and deliverables, troubleshooting and supporting others as needed.
  • On-stage presence: Confidently present and deliver content at conferences, trainings, webinars, and customer-facing events.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in instructional design with expertise in adult learning theory and LMS content development.
  • Hands-on experience creating SCORM files or equivalent eLearning content.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, comfortable juggling multiple initiatives in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong experience designing and delivering live webinars using Zoom.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Canva, and iMovie for presentation, slide, and video content.
  • Familiarity with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, or Captivate is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent writing and content governance skills with the ability to communicate complex product information clearly, concisely, and in the Zipline voice.
  • Skilled collaborator who builds trust across functions, communicates clearly, and adapts to different audiences.
  • A true team player: thrives in a collaborative environment, embraces change, and steps in to support teammates when needed.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to measure learning impact and apply insights to improve programs.
  • Resilient and adaptable in the face of shifting priorities, solution-focused and calm under pressure.
  • Strategic thinker who can connect day-to-day deliverables to larger team and company goals.

The broad salary ranges reflect the growth someone will experience in the role—from developing skills to reaching expertise within their career level. At Zipline, you’ll continue to have career development conversations with your manager to ensure your compensation grows as you advance.

Our salary ranges are determined by market, factoring in our revenue and employee size, paying competitively at the 75th percentile. In higher cost of living markets, we apply 5-10% multipliers on our ranges, depending on the location, to maintain competitive compensation and reflective of the increased expenses our team members face in those areas. While we primarily hire in Canada and the USA, we are a global employer, and all hiring regions will use the same methodology to determine fair and transparent pay.

Transparency is key to building trust in our compensation process. To better understand how this range is determined, we encourage you to ask as many questions as you'd like about compensation during the interview process to ensure clarity and confidence.
