Meet Benevity

Benevity is the way the world does good, providing companies (and their employees) with technology to take social action on the issues they care about. Through giving, volunteering, grantmaking, employee resource groups and micro-actions, we help most of the Fortune 100 brands build better cultures and use their power for good. We’re also one of the first B Corporations in Canada, meaning we’re as committed to purpose as we are to profits. We have people working all over the world, including Canada, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States and more!

As a Leadership Development Facilitator, you will bring Benevity’s leadership programs to life through engaging, high-impact facilitation. You’ll play a hands-on role in delivering leadership development experiences across the organization, and over time, expand into facilitating team effectiveness sessions that help teams work better together. This role is ideal for a skilled facilitator who thrives in front of a room, whether in person or virtually, connects well with diverse audiences, and is passionate about growing leaders and teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate leadership workshops, training sessions, and learning experiences that align with Benevity’s “B a Leader” model and people priorities.

  • Deliver program content consistently and compellingly across a global audience, adapting facilitation style to meet the needs of different groups and contexts.

  • Support the end-to-end logistics of program delivery, including scheduling, participant communications, LMS coordination, measurement, and reporting.

  • Support other learning initiatives across the People Development & Enablement team as needed (including Launchpad, our new hire onboarding program, and Level Up workshops, focused on upskilling soft skills, and business acumen).

  • Gather and synthesize participant feedback to inform continuous program improvements.

  • Partner within the People Development Team and crossfunctional stakeholders to tailor content delivery based on audience needs and business context.

  • Support and maintain existing learning programs and content

  • Leverage AI-powered tools to streamline administrative and design tasks, enhance content delivery, and personalize learning experiences.

  • Facilitate team effectiveness sessions (e.g., team charters, working style workshops, conflict navigation) as this part of the role grows.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in organizational development, adult learning, HR, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in a facilitation, learning delivery, or people development role.

  • Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills — you know how to read a room (virtual or in person) and keep people engaged.

  • Certification or training in facilitation frameworks or leadership models (e.g., Insights, Fierce Conversations, DDI, Situational Leadership) is a strong asset.

  • Comfortable delivering content to diverse audiences, including senior leaders.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and trust quickly.

  • Solid organizational skills; able to manage logistics and coordinate across multiple programs simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and how to apply them in a facilitated setting.

  • Experience with LMS platforms and virtual facilitation tools.

  • Curiosity and a growth mindset — you actively seek feedback and look for ways to improve your craft.
