Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Construction Labourer to join our team on a casual basis. We are happy to accommodate mornings, afternoons, or weekend shifts. We are hiring for all of our construction sites located across the lower mainland. Locations include Downtown Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, and Pitt Meadow's. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in assisting with various construction projects and providing essential support to the construction team. Your responsibilities will include performing physical tasks, ensuring the job site is clean and organized, and adhering to safety regulations.
This position is ideal for individuals who prefer flexible working hours. Please provide your availability when applying and we will do our best to accommodate.

What You Will Do:
• Assist with various physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving construction materials, tools, and equipment as required.
• Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, removing obstacles, and setting up necessary equipment.
• Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and construction machinery under supervision and as directed.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site by clearing debris, sweeping, and disposing of waste materials properly.
• Follow all safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations to minimize accidents and injuries on the job site.
• Work closely with the construction team, following instructions and assisting as needed to ensure project timelines are met.
• Report any issues, concerns, or incidents promptly to the supervisor or project manager.
What you bring:
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy objects on a regular basis.
• Basic understanding of construction processes, tools, and materials is preferred but not mandatory.
• Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, afternoon and weekends as required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors or project managers.
• Good verbal communication skills to convey information and report issues effectively.
