We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time temporary Junior Accountant to join our Finance team in Langley, BC.

This temporary position is expected to last 12-18 months.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Accounting team by compiling, reviewing, and completing various reports and assisting with other administrative duties.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Accounting team with financial period close reports and reporting process.
  • Preparing financial journal entries and assisting with payroll processing.
  • Preparing account reconciliations.
  • Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls and budgeting processes.
  • Performing other accounting duties as required.

You have:

  • Completed post-secondary education in accounting or Finance.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience in a retail or grocery setting is considered an asset.
  • Intermediate knowledge of and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and experience working with general ledger systems.

Compensation Details:

$54,909.00 - $68,636.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience and other factors.
