Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the IT Junior Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting the IT team with their daily tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Phishing email analysis and campaign creation.
- Firewall and web filter log review and investigations.
- Web filter allow/disallow listing.
- Email security management.
- Virus updates, patch and service pack management, including testing, deployment staging, and documentation.
- MDT application updates.
- Basic VMware vCenter administration.
- Basic routing, switching, wireless network troubleshooting.
- Basic Cisco UCM and Unity Connection administration.
- Hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Responding to system and/or network security incidents and breaches.
- Build and maintain process documentation.
- Perform other duties within IT as required.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux servers, core services and enterprise applications.
- Advanced knowledge of networking, including routing, switching, firewalls in an enterprise environment.
- Knowledge of scripting technologies – PowerShell, PowerCLI, Bash, Python.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or Diploma specializing in Information Technology.

Salary: $60,000 - $75,000
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside this range and is dependent on various factors.
