Defence

With a proven track record on complex programs and a commitment to collaborative delivery models such as Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) and Modified Design Build (MDB), we are seeking experienced professionals who share our vision for excellence in defence infrastructure. Prior experience with Defence Construction Canada (DCC) and DND projects, bilingual proficiency in English and French, and the ability to obtain or hold a Reliability and Secret security clearance are essential assets for candidates ready to contribute to Canada’s most significant defence initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support a team in producing architectural design solutions and construction drawings.
Provide design input to project architect, and modelling tasks to complete contract documents.
Participate in coordination meetings both internally and with other disciplines.
- Assist with internal reviews and quality checks of the models and drawings to ensure compliance with BIM standards.
- Research materials, products and technologies required for the design and incorporate into the details, specification and other documents.
- Coordinate a team of consultants.
- Provide technical and administrative oversight to ensure that both the internal and external client needs are met and that the projects are delivered within cost, quality and schedule targets.
- Travel to remote First Nation communities and work sites.
Qualifications
- Registered architect in Manitoba (MAA), or eligibility to be registered.
- 4+ years experience in a similar role.
- Canadian Reliability or Secret Security clearance, or eligibility to obtain, is mandatory
- Familiarity with both Provincial and National related standards and codes.
- Knowledge of BIM principles & workflows, REVIT software, AutoCAD software, Microsoft 365 environment and Bluebeam.
- Experience with Visualization software, and Adobe Creative Suite would be considered an asset.
- Experience or desire to work with Indigenous communities would be considered an asset.
Compensation:
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $80,800 to $107,000
MB & ON: $73,700 to $101,500
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $73,00 to $96,900
