THE TEAM

The mission of the Cybersecurity Department is to deliver high‐quality cybersecurity services and solutions that minimize risk across Aritzia’s systems and data.

  

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing and our Cybersecurity team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for protecting Aritzia’s data on the organization’s systems and network. As the Senior Engineer, Threat & Vulnerability, you will lead the detection, analysis, and mitigation of cybersecurity incidents, ensuring a rapid and effective response to threats. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining a robust security posture, protecting sensitive information, and safeguarding Aritzia’s network and assets from cyber threats and vulnerabilities. THE ROLE

As the Senior Engineer, Threat & Vulnerability, you will:

  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks, and design and implement security measures to protect network infrastructure and assets

  • Monitor security events and analyze security logs to detect and respond to potential security incidents

  • Identify, analyze, and prioritize threats to Aritzia’s technology environment, including databases, systems, applications, networks

  • Develop and implement threat intelligence programs in anticipation of emerging security incidents

  • Collaborate with Technology and cross-functional partners to share and receive threat information

  • Lead the response to security incidents, including investigation, containment, response, and recovery

  • Develop and implement playbooks and response plans to ensure a structured and efficient response to security incidents

  • Deploy and support security tools, technologies, and controls that protect Aritzia's infrastructure and data

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Senior Engineer, Threat & Vulnerability, has proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft security suite of products, including MS Defender and Sentinel; Kusto Query Language (KQL); security incident investigation techniques

  • Knowledge of Microsoft, Linux, and Mac operating systems; Zscaler products; vulnerability scanning tools; Azure and GCP cloud infrastructure; SIEM products; MITRE ATT&CK framework

  • Exposure to web application and/or network penetration testing

  • Microsoft: Security Operations Analysts Associate – SC-200 certification preferred

  • MS: Azure Security Engineer Associate – AZ-500 certification preferred

  • Offensive Security: OSCP, SOC-200 certification preferred

  • SANS: GIAC – Incident Handler certification preferred

THE COMPENSATION

At Aritzia, we provide market-leading compensation packages designed to reward impact through our pay-for-performance philosophy.
The range for roles at this level is $100,000 - $300,000 CAD per year. Total compensation may include base, bonus and/or equity depending on the role, which has the potential to be greater than this range.
