 Job Overview: 

As an HR Business Partner, you will partner with leaders in assigned functional areas to align organizational goals, functional goals, and people practices. This role will primarily support our Sales and Marketing employees in the US and Canada, as part of the North American HR Team.  This role is a key member of the HR team, working closely with global HR leaders and functional leaders on performance management, employee relations, talent management, engagement and retention, DEI, total rewards, HR policies and strategies, and more. 

As a strategic partner to a fast-growing organization, the HR Business Partner will learn about the key objectives and challenges of each business function, build relationships with stakeholders throughout the company, and partner with the broader HR organization to execute tactical and strategic initiatives.  

 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Serves as dedicated HR Business Partner to assigned functional teams. 
  • Provides support and guidance to leaders when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise such as employee relations, performance issues, terminations, and investigations.  
  • Provides guidance and thought leadership across the organization on HR-related topics including performance management, career development, employee engagement, organizational design, change management, employee relations, DEI, and other key initiatives. 
  • Partners with the global HR team to execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy. 
  • Consult with leaders at all levels to provide day-to-day guidance on HR matters.  
  • Conducts employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, exit interviews, and investigations.  
  • Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees. 
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. 
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. 
  • Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes improvements to current programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.  
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

 

 

Requirements & Skills: 

  • 5+ years of relevant HR experience, with demonstrated success in partnering with leaders to align organizational goals and HR initiatives. 
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to switch between strategic thinking and tactical execution.  
  • Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and influencing skills. 
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships as a trusted advisor at all levels of the organization. 
  • Proven ability in coaching, influencing without authority, and building strong business acumen. 
  • Strong presentation skills, with demonstrated success in facilitating meetings and trainings. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in using data to report on performance and make decisions.  
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.  
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. 
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn relevant HR systems (ADP, Greenhouse, Cornerstone, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)  
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, industry trends, and employment laws and regulations in the U.S. and Canada 

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent professional certification. 
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech company. 
  • Experience working in a global environment. 


We will disclose intended pay ranges in our job ads for US-based opportunities This role can be performed 100% remote anywhere in the US and Canada.  Anticipated Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000 Annually USD
