Responsibilities

  • Lead the team in developing new products, including hardware circuits and mechanical components.
  • Lead the manufacturing team in optimizing the production process and developing new testing protocols.
  • Manage the schedules for new product development.
  • Lead efforts to transition products from design to mass production, including the development and implementation of robust testing processes that meet all compliance and reliability requirements.
  • Troubleshoot issues during production and implement continuous improvements.
  • Manage product documentation, including yield enhancement, Bill of Materials (BOM) and production release documents.
  • Drive cost-reduction initiatives, including yield enhancement, test-time reduction, and package optimization.
  • Support customer audits and failure analysis (FA).
  • Work closely with contract manufacturers to ensure product designs are executed with attention to quality and precision.
  • Oversee quality assurance processes during mass production to maintain and enhance product yield rates, ensuring high standards are consistently met.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • More than 10 years of experience in product design and product engineering, preferably within the IT industry.
  • Experience in production processes and product validation.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and C++.
  • Familiarity with compliance testing and certification including UL & CE.
  • Strong professional integrity and the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with factories and team members in Asia; fluency in Mandarin is required/preferred.
