Our challenge

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications. The role involves working across both front-end and back-end technologies in an Agile environment, delivering secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions for client-facing and internal applications.

Additional Information* 

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.  In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Vancouver, BC is CAD $110k – CAD $125k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement new features while maintaining existing applications.
  • Work across the full technology stack, including front-end user interfaces and back-end services.
  • Build, deploy, and maintain REST APIs and microservices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Follow DevOps best practices using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure application security using modern authentication and authorization protocols.
  • Maintain high standards of code quality, performance, and scalability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 9+ years of proven experience in full-stack development, with a focus on front-end-heavy architecture.
  • Strong experience in full stack development.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of enterprise-level security and authentication (OAuth2, OIDC).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience delivering secure, scalable applications.
  • Frontend: Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Backend: Java 11+, Spring, Spring Boot
  • Databases: SQL, MongoDB / NoSQL
  • APIs & Services: RESTful APIs, Microservices, Swagger, API Gateway tools (APIGEE)
  • DevOps & Tools: Jenkins, GitHub, JIRA, OpenShift

Preferred, but not required:

  • Experience with cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Passion for innovation and building modern technology solutions.
