We’re growing our Product Development Team and looking for a talented Front-End Developer who’s passionate about building intuitive, scalable, and engaging user experiences.
What You’ll DoAs a Front-End Developer at Limelight, you will:
Build engaging, user-facing functionality and interfaces that seamlessly integrate with back-end, full-stack, and platform operations.
Collaborate across teams—including Product, UX, CX, SysOps, and customer-facing functions—to deliver features that delight our users.
Contribute ideas, insights, and recommendations to continuously improve our product and team practices.
Work in an agile environment, participating in daily standups and breakout sessions to address issues and move projects forward.
Analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and determine the best technical solutions for features, bugs, and enhancements.
Take ownership of deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
Develop and enforce programming standards and best practices across the organization.
Participate productively on multiple project teams simultaneously.
Work independently with minimal supervision, while contributing actively to team growth and success.
Deliver enhancements to the Limelight platform in collaboration with a Team Lead and other developers.
Architect, design, implement, and launch significant features.
Collaborate with teammates in standups and agile breakout sessions.
Progress through a defined backlog with a focus on delivery, transparency, and quality.
Required Qualifications:
Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience in software design and development.
5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
3+ years of hands-on experience with React.js.
Advanced HTML/CSS skills with a proven ability to deliver dynamic, engaging interfaces.
Strong understanding of agile development practices, backlog management, and delivery focus.
Knowledge of Java and relational databases.
Experience with large-scale, high-traffic, multi-tier RESTful applications.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with SOC 2 Type 2 compliance requirements.
Experience with Redux, Plotly, Durandal, or Knockout.
