We’re growing our Product Development Team and looking for a talented Front-End Developer who’s passionate about building intuitive, scalable, and engaging user experiences.

What You’ll Do

As a Front-End Developer at Limelight, you will:

  • Build engaging, user-facing functionality and interfaces that seamlessly integrate with back-end, full-stack, and platform operations.

  • Collaborate across teams—including Product, UX, CX, SysOps, and customer-facing functions—to deliver features that delight our users.

  • Contribute ideas, insights, and recommendations to continuously improve our product and team practices.

  • Work in an agile environment, participating in daily standups and breakout sessions to address issues and move projects forward.

  • Analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and determine the best technical solutions for features, bugs, and enhancements.

  • Take ownership of deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and enforce programming standards and best practices across the organization.

  • Participate productively on multiple project teams simultaneously.

  • Work independently with minimal supervision, while contributing actively to team growth and success.

What a Typical Day Looks Like
  • Deliver enhancements to the Limelight platform in collaboration with a Team Lead and other developers.

  • Architect, design, implement, and launch significant features.

  • Collaborate with teammates in standups and agile breakout sessions.

  • Progress through a defined backlog with a focus on delivery, transparency, and quality.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software design and development.

  • 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with React.js.

  • Advanced HTML/CSS skills with a proven ability to deliver dynamic, engaging interfaces.

  • Strong understanding of agile development practices, backlog management, and delivery focus.

  • Knowledge of Java and relational databases.

  • Experience with large-scale, high-traffic, multi-tier RESTful applications.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with SOC 2 Type 2 compliance requirements.

  • Experience with Redux, Plotly, Durandal, or Knockout.
