We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Finance Analyst, Reporting & Consolidation to join our Finance team in Langley, BC.  
 

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for participating in process improvements and special projects, including potential acquisitions and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams within the organization. You will be a key contributor to the financial reporting and consolidation processes.
You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the preparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for the Executive Committee.

  • Supporting the monthly consolidation of actual financial results from all the Group entities.

  • Ensuring that consolidating entries and reconciliations are completed on time and that inter-company transactions are accurately eliminated.

  • Supporting the creation and distribution of standard management reports that provide a clear and synthesized understanding of financial performance.

  • Collaborating with various business units across the organization to help analyze, align, and report on key business drivers.

  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes within the team to enhance efficiency and quality.

  • Participating in department initiatives, special projects, and ad hoc analysis as required.
     

You have:

  • An accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA) or working toward one, or equivalent industry experience.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and/or financial reporting and consolidation, ideally within a retail environment.

  • Familiarity with financial systems and various accounting applications.

  • Proficiency in Excel, including basic financial modelling skills.

  • A strong understanding of business processes, with the ability to document and evaluate them effectively.

  • The ability to analyze and manage data, translating it into meaningful insights.

Compensation Details:

$72,720.00 - $90,900.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
