Job Description
Motorola Solutions is seeking a passionate and experienced **System Engineering Lead** to guide our team in delivering cutting-edge hardware and software solutions, including NVR and AI Appliances. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership skills to optimize system performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive innovation across a global product portfolio. Key Responsibilities
Lead and participate in benchmarking, system optimization, and hardware/software integration efforts.
Design automated test environments to ensure scalability and performance for AI and video solutions.
Partner with Tier 1 OEM/ODM hardware providers to deliver high-quality, reliable platforms.
Drive NPI lifecycles, from design to mass production, while meeting budgets and timelines.
Build and mentor a global team, promoting a collaborative and innovative culture.
Requirements
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
3+ years in hardware design and 2+ years in software development.
Expertise in x86 servers, storage systems, networking, and embedded platforms.
Proven ability to bring products to market and solve complex technical challenges.
Target Base Salary Range: $110,000 CAD - $125,000 CAD
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
