What You’ll Do:
Innovate & Lead: Provide hands-on technical leadership in developing both Desktop (C#/C++/WPF) and Cloud (React/Node.js) solutions.
Mentor & Grow: Actively participate in our Architecture Community of Practice, fostering a collaborative environment where you mentor junior engineers and learn from peers.
Deliver Excellence: Design scalable, secure, and maintainable software that adheres to high-quality standards and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization).
Collaborate: Work within a high-performing Scrum team to execute our architectural roadmap and leverage emerging technologies like AI/ML.
What You Bring:
The Basics: A degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years of software development experience.
Technical Depth: Strong proficiency in C# and C++. You have a track record of delivering large-scale, public-facing applications.
Curiosity: A passion for staying current with technology trends and a desire to teach others what you’ve learned.
Communication: Clear, transparent communication skills and an optimistic, growth-oriented mindset.
Preferred Experience (Not a Dealbreaker!):
Experience as a technical lead or mentor.
Exposure to JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular) or Node.js.
Familiarity with AI/Machine Learning or modern DevOps tooling.
Work Style: This is a hybrid role based out of our Vancouver, BC office. We value the energy of in-person collaboration while respecting the flexibility of remote work. Candidates must reside in the Greater Vancouver Area.
Target Base Salary Range: $125,000 - 155,000 CAD
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
