Job Description:

  • Software development tasks related to PIC64-HPSC/HX

  • Development of software in C for embedded system controller

  • Development of software in Python for system level tools

  • Participate in the analysis design, development, and integration of application layer software for multi-core embedded systems.

  • Create documentation such as design documents, user manuals, and release notes for delivered components.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

  • Related coop work experience in Software development for embedded systems.

  • Experience working in a Linux development environment.

  • Good working knowledge of C and Python.

  • Experience with Linux and RTOS embedded environments is also an asset.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Adaptability to a wide variety of software development tasks.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, experience as part of a collaborative development team, and a passion for developing software

We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry. It consists of competitive base pay, restricted stock units, and quarterly bonus payments. Benefits of working at Microchip

The annual base salary range for this position is $76,000 - $114,000.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
