Job Description:

Software development tasks related to PIC64-HPSC/HX
-
Development of software in C for embedded system controller
-
Development of software in Python for system level tools
-
Participate in the analysis design, development, and integration of application layer software for multi-core embedded systems.

Create documentation such as design documents, user manuals, and release notes for delivered components.
Requirements/Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
-
Related coop work experience in Software development for embedded systems.
-
Experience working in a Linux development environment.
-
Good working knowledge of C and Python.
-
Experience with Linux and RTOS embedded environments is also an asset.

Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Adaptability to a wide variety of software development tasks.

Strong interpersonal skills, experience as part of a collaborative development team, and a passion for developing software

Benefits of working at Microchip
The annual base salary range for this position is $76,000 - $114,000.*
*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
