As the Employee Experience Events Coordinator, you are a key player in developing and executing experiences that ignite our culture, so that our global employees are inspired to thrive both professionally and personally from the moment they walk in our doors. You'll contribute to and manage several integral employee events and programs as part of the employee experience global roadmap to support Arc'teryx in being a great place to work for all. This role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

The People and Culture Employee Experience team operates in strategic partnership with the business, to drive the continuous evolution of people practices and foster a culture of belonging that generates high-performance, strength-based teams, and values-based leadership. 

If you were in the Employee Experience Events Coordinator role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Partnering with the Employee Experience and Events team to deliver programs and initiatives that exemplify the organizations values, in particular LIVE IT.
  • Coordinating specific engagement activities and celebrations to fuel our culture of connection, such as Bevvy & Stories and cultural engagement activities
  • Organizing all pre-planning logistics associated with in-person events such as vendor research and coordination, coordinating schedules, attendee communications, event registration / check-ins, food and beverage, in house AV
  • Leveraging communication platforms as social tools such as event calendar and intranet to connect our diverse employee community to the brand
  • Co-leading large-scale events that enable our employees to spend time outdoors

  • Identifying opportunities and evolving employee experience events and recognition programs, as needed 
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Learning and Development and Brand Experience to align events with company goals and values

Are you our next Employee Experience Events Coordinator?

  • You have 2+ years of event management and production experience, post-secondary diploma or certification in Event Management, Communications, Tourism an asset
  • You have hands-on experience organizing outdoor events, camps, or group activities (like youth groups or nature-based programs) and understand the logistics and creativity needed to deliver memorable experiences in natural settings.
  • You are comfortable lifting items weighing 20-50lbs during event load in and load out
  • You hold a valid BC Driver’s License and are comfortable traveling in the BC Lower Mainland.
  • You are natural knack for organization, detail and accuracy.
  • You are an empathetic and proactive communicator, and care about engaging people in an inclusive manner.
  • You are open and approachable with a customer-service mentality. 
  • You have a highly collaborative working style and have a demonstrated ability to build cross-functional relationships.
  • You establish effective systems and programs to ensure projects, events, and processes are running smoothly. 
  • You embrace a growth mindset and are passionate about learning and growing in your role.
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity. 
  • You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, driven by integrity and a dedication to quality.
  • Your passion for creating experiences is mirrored by your love of the outdoors—you’re energized by nature, and you know the value of connecting people to the world outside.
