Earning potential of $125,000-$135,000+ which includes base plus an uncapped commission structure.Job Description:
Major job functions:
Promote and sell electrical power generation equipment, including diesel and gas generator sets and accessories
Evaluate customer needs and provide tailored, high-quality solutions
Build and maintain strong relationships with electrical contractors and end users
Develop and maintain accurate customer data using company tools and systems
Prepare forecasts, pricing, and estimates in a timely manner
Ensure all sales documents and customer agreements are completed accurately and consistently
Maintain effective territory coverage and identify new business opportunities
Drive profitable parts and service revenue aligned with corporate and territory targets
Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner at all times
Collaborate with internal teams and support overall business objectives
Manage time effectively and adapt to a fast paced, customer focused environment
Education and Experience
Minimum 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the electrical or heavy equipment industry
Strong Electrical and Mechanical knowledge and understanding of Engines and Electrical power generation and Electrical distribution equipment
Understanding and applying the basic selling principles
Proven ability to apply core sales principles and build lasting customer relationships
Solid business acumen, including understanding of financing, credit, and support systems
Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Team oriented with the flexibility to work additional hours as required
