Are you a driven sales professional with a strong technical background in power generation, electrical systems, or heavy equipment? We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to support and grow our customer base throughout British Columbia and the Yukon

Job Description:

What You’ll Do 

  • Promote and sell diesel and gas generator sets, power generation equipment, and related accessories 

  • Identify customer needs and recommend customized solutions

  •  Develop and maintain strong relationships with electrical contractors, engineers, consultants, and end users 

  • Manage and grow an assigned territory across BC and Yukon 

  • Prepare quotations, estimates, pricing proposals, and sales forecasts 

  • Maintain accurate customer and sales information within company systems 

  • Ensure all sales documentation and customer agreements are completed accurately 

  • Drive profitable equipment, parts, and service sales opportunities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service and support 

  • Represent the company professionally and ethically at all times 

What You Bring 

  • Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in the electrical, industrial, power generation, or heavy equipment industry 

  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude 

  • Working knowledge of engines, power generation systems, and electrical distribution equipment 

  • Proven success in consultative or solution-based sales 

  • Experience with bid/specification sales is considered an asset 

  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships 

  • Solid business acumen, including understanding of financing, credit, and sales processes 

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills 

  • Excellent organization, time management, and territory planning abilities 

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team 

  • Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
