About the Role:
WekaIO is seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Director of Operations to build and manage the end-to-end supply chain for WekaPod, our turnkey hardware appliance. This critical role will be responsible for defining and executing our operational strategy, from sourcing and vendor management to logistics and fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the enterprise hardware ecosystem and a proven track record of launching and scaling supply chains for new products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Strategy: Develop, implement, and optimize a comprehensive global supply chain strategy for WekaPod, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery to market.
- Vendor Management: Identify, qualify, and manage key relationships with hardware vendors, including OEM and ODM server manufacturers, to ensure quality, reliability, and cost competitiveness.
- Component Sourcing: Establish and maintain strong relationships with component vendors for critical parts, such as SSDs, NICs, GPUs, and CPUs, negotiating pricing and securing reliable supply.
- Partnership Development: Collaborate with distribution and integration partners to build robust logistics, warehousing, and fulfillment processes that support our global customer base.
- Negotiation & Contracts: Lead all contract and pricing negotiations with supply chain vendors to secure favorable terms, optimize costs, and minimize risk.
- Operational Excellence: Implement and refine supply chain processes, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and quality control, to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with engineering, product management, sales, and finance teams to align operational capabilities with product roadmaps and business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, or a related field, preferably within the enterprise hardware or technology sector.
- Demonstrated, hands-on experience working with OEM and ODM server vendors to bring new products to market.
- Deep familiarity with the NAND and memory market
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating complex contracts and pricing agreements with large-scale vendors.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

USA Residents Only: The OTE hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is $185,000-$225,000. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law. In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Flexible Time off (FTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws.
