Your opportunity at ARC’TERYX:


The Digital Analytics Specialist, Supply Planning works with cross-functional teams to analyze data, monitor performance metrics, and provide valuable insights to enhance overall supply planning performance. You will contribute to the achievement of KPI goals, identify areas for improvement, and support data-driven decision-making across various departments.

 

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid or remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

 

Meet your future team:


The Supply Planning team is dynamic group of high-level planners who are responsible for the development and on-time delivery of the supply plan to warehouse. Our planners partner with internal and external teams to identify and mitigate supply risks, manage production readiness, prioritize business requirements, and reconcile gaps in delivery.

If you were in this position now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Gathering business questions and translating them into data requirements and specifications
  • Extracting and analyzing data from various platforms, such as SAP, AFO, and other data collection platforms
  • Monitoring and analyzing supply chain data performance to KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement and risks in on time delivery
  • Preparing regular reports and dashboards summarizing key findings, insights, and recommendations for stakeholders and management to inform decision-making processes
  • Developing and maintaining documentation of analyses and insights to continuously build and develop data analysis process across supply planning
  • Monitoring and reporting on outcomes of improvements and progress against performance goals
  • Conducting ad hoc analysis, as required, for cross-functional partners to drive end to end Supply Chain on time delivery
  • Supporting training of colleagues and internal partners in their use of digital analytics to answer their business questions and develop standardized analytics processes
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems and analysis data points

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Evaluating data-related process gaps across the Supply Planning and cross-functional departments, summarizing and proposing recommendations to Supply leaders for continuous process evolution
  • Contributing to the evolution of data tools across the business, providing subject matter expertise in future development of data platforms

Are you our next Data Analytics Specialist, Supply Planning?

  • You have 4+ years of experience as a Digital Analyst or similar role, preferably within supply chain
  • You have a University degree in Math, Economic, Statistics, Finance, Business or equivalent
  • You have strong analytical skills with a proven track record of collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets
  • You have an understanding of and sensitivity towards data integrity and cleanliness
  • You have strong expertise in SAP systems, particularly SAP Retail, SAP ERP, and SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).
  • High proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • You have an extreme attention to detail and an ability to dig into large amounts of data and find the inconsistencies and risks
  • You have strong communication and business presentation skills, ability to effectively communicate to all levels of stakeholders
  • Familiarity with retail operations, including product management, pricing, and supply chain processes, is highly desirable.
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration
  • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
  • You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment
  • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
