As the Data Analyst, ReBIRD, your expertise in analysis and data-driven insights supports key decisions on product service, repair, and long-term strategy. Reporting to the Senior Data Analyst, ReBIRD you will work closely with cross-functional partners of the ReBIRD program to deliver a best-in-class guest experience that extends the lifecycle of Arc’teryx products. You are a driven professional focused on creating a data-driven culture and enabling decision makers in the short- and long-term strategy to deliver on a best-in-class guest experience.
This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
Meet Your Future Team:
Under the Circularity umbrella, the ReBIRD team supports the operations of our warranty and repairs program, our service centers within retail, and resale. The global ReBIRD program focuses on an exceptional Guest experience at all Commercial touchpoints, inclusive of Guest Services, After Sales, Branded activations, and especially within our owned Vertical channels, Retail and eCommerce.
If you were in the Data Analyst, ReBIRD role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Performing data manipulation and analysis to support key performance metrics across the service and repair network
- Maintaining recurring forecasts and supporting the development of new forecasting techniques
- Building and maintaining dashboards in Power BI including troubleshooting and debugging errors, refreshing, and publishing data
- Gathering business requirements and translating them into data requirements and specifications
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Business Intelligence, Technology, Design, Quality Control, and Supply Chain; representing company needs in after-sales returns and service and working on projects to enable informed decision making
- Improving data through research and analysis of product returns and trends in support of product insights and design teams
- Understanding and teaching others about global service delivery systems and processes in relation to regional differences and constraints for reporting visibility
- Supporting the creation and reporting of sustainability metrics and measuring the impact of the service and repair program, in partnership with our Sustainability team
- Contributing to the evolution of data tools across the business, providing subject matter expertise in future development of data platforms
- Integrating APAC regions into greater data analytics work to better inform global ReBIRD analytics
- Incorporating raw material data to support forecasting, ordering, managing, and fulfillment
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
Are you our next Data Analyst, ReBIRD?
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Business or a related field
- You have 3+ years' experience synthesizing complex analysis into actionable insights and presenting insights to senior leaders
- You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to summarize and express ideas clearly through visualizations, written documents and presentations
- You have extensive experience in data visualization and analysis software (e.g. Power BI, Excel, Tableau, SQL, etc.)
- You have experience with data manipulation and management including ETL, user provisioning, and Power BI service management
- You have experience balancing customer focus with long-term strategic goals and operational constraints, and you take initiative in documenting and presenting opportunities for improvement
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions.
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity.
- Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it.
- You are able and willing to travel as required
Compensation
Most new team members join between the start and midpoint of the range, where you can contribute right away while continuing to grow your craft, your collaborations, and your impact at Arc’teryx. This range reflects market alignment and the scope of the role. Individual pay is determined by your skills, experience, and level of responsibility.
