We are looking for Data Analyst for our growing team!
What you'll do here:
Technology: Automation & Application Development
- Build and iterate on Power Apps (canvas, and where applicable model-driven) aligned to business needs and usability standards.
- Design and maintain Power Automate flows to streamline processes and reduce manual effort.
- Configure and use connectors and Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, Teams) to enable secure, scalable solutions.
- Support rollout, training, and lightweight documentation to drive adoption.
Data & Analytics
- Assist with data quality checks: profiling, validations, and reconciliation; document assumptions, definitions, and business rules.
- Participate in requirements sessions; translate stakeholder questions into metrics, mockups, and simple wireframes.
- Execute short, well-scoped analytics tasks; share findings in concise write-ups and simple visualizations.
- Support Power BI: prepare data, build basic models and DAX measures, and create clear, actionable reports/dashboards.
- Collaboration & Governance
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand pain points and translate them into user stories for both app features and analytics deliverables.
- Work with corporate IT to align with security, governance, and compliance standards across apps, automations, and data.
- Continuous Improvement
What you bring to the table:
- Currently enrolled in a diploma or degree program in information systems, computer science, business, analytics, or a related field.
- Available to work with us full-time, 35 hours per week, for the winter 2026 term (january to april 2026)
- Must be an active student during your internship and/or returning to school in next semester following your internship (summer or fall 2026)
- Coursework or project exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and Microsoft 365 services.
- Introductory experience with data analysis and Power BI (data prep, modeling, DAX, visualization).
- Ability to break down business problems into pragmatic, user-centered solutions and measurable metrics.
- Foundational knowledge of automation, process mapping, and data handling; comfort with data quality concepts.
- Strong analytical thinking; capable of translating questions into metrics and simple wireframes/mockups.
- Clear written and verbal communication; concise synthesis of findings.
- Familiarity with application UI/UX standards and ability to create accessible, intuitive interfaces.
- Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Teams.
- Power BI, basic Power Fx or scripting is a plus.
- Understanding of connectors, APIs, or web services is beneficial but not required.
