The Coordinator, Insurance Products will provide essential support for the ongoing maintenance of BCAA’s insurance product portfolio, as well as supporting the development of product solutions aimed at contributing to the growth and performance of BCAA’s insurance product portfolio. These encompass assisting in the creation, ongoing redesign, and improvement of product features and processes to efficiently address customer needs and support BCAA’s overall purpose, mission and beliefs.

  • Naturally curious and analytical, with a desire to understand insurance market trends, competitor offerings, customer needs, and product performance.
  • A collaborative professional who enjoys working with stakeholders across insurance, operations, sales, compliance, marketing, and customer experience teams.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • A proactive learner who is eager to build expertise in insurance products, product development, and customer experience.
  • Comfortable working with data, research, and customer feedback to identify insights and support business recommendations.
  • Someone who is motivated by continuous improvement and finding better ways to serve customers through insurance solutions.
What You Bring
  • 1-3 years of experience in insurance, financial services, business analysis, product support, project coordination, customer experience, or a related field.
  • An understanding of insurance products, insurance operations, or the broader insurance industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and synthesize information into meaningful insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with product documentation, policies, and process updates.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple initiatives and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • An interest in innovation, market trends, and improving insurance product offerings and customer experiences.
  • Insurance industry experience or coursework is an asset but not required.
What You'll Do
  • Support the ongoing management, maintenance, and enhancement of BCAA's insurance product portfolio.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of insurance products, product features, and supporting processes that help drive customer value and business performance.
  • Contribute to the insurance product lifecycle by supporting research, business case development, prioritization, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain product manuals and documentation, ensuring insurance product information remains accurate, up to date, and aligned with business needs.
  • Research insurance industry trends, competitor activity, customer feedback, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and inform recommendations.
  • Analyze market intelligence and customer insights to support decision-making and ongoing product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support customer-focused insurance solutions that are easy to understand, purchase, and use.
  • Support initiatives that promote product knowledge, compliance, profitability, and customer outcomes across BCAA's insurance distribution channels.

The salary range for this position is $56,605.68 to $70,757.04  and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 9%.
