The Financial Specialist, NA Finance (12 month contract) supports the Commercial Finance team by assisting with financial reporting, data analysis, and auditing activities. This role focuses on providing accurate financial insights and contributing to process improvements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to develop their financial acumen while working in a collaborative environment.

Compensation Package : $42,300.00 - $56,500.00 . CAD annual base salary equivalency, paid in alignment to contract term

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Assist in preparing and distributing financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support the analysis of financial performance, identifying key trends and variances.
- Help track pricing and trade strategy performance, assisting with contract reporting and analysis.
GPO Claims Review
- Conduct thorough reviews of GPO claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
- Identify and resolve issues related to multiple payments for the same claim.
- Manage and review claims related to direct deal customers to ensure proper billing and payment processing.
- Address and resolve discrepancies for customers billed by other GPOs, ensuring all claims are accurate and justified.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline the claims review process and improve efficiency.
Process Improvement & Digital Tools
- Support the implementation of financial reporting tools, including Power BI.
- Assist in process standardization efforts and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP, Power BI, or other ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
