Talent Brand Specialist, North America
Florenceville, New Brunswick, Canada
In every role, McCainers are ambitious, curious, and passionate about creating exceptional work experiences - together. With a customer-first mindset, we make doing business with McCain easy.
About the role .
As a key member of McCain's North American Talent Acquisition team, the Talent Brand Specialist will own and evolve our regional talent brand strategy across the United States and Canada. Working in close partnership with our Global Talent Brand Center of Excellence, this role sits at the intersection of talent attraction, culture storytelling, and creativity-where strategy meets imagination (and yes, the occasional potato pun).
You'll be a trusted strategic partner to the business, bringing insight into internal priorities and external market trends to help leaders make informed, forward-looking talent decisions. Partnering closely with recruiters and hiring teams across all functions, you'll translate unique talent needs into compelling, creative attraction strategies. This role also plays a critical part in supporting McCain's River Valley Strategy, helping attract top talent to our global headquarters in Florenceville, New Brunswick.
What you'll be doing.
  • Champion McCain's employer brand across North America, partnering with our Global Talent Brand team to bring our talent pillars to life
  • Own and execute the North American employer awards strategy, from submission through promotion
  • Create and manage compelling talent attraction content across multiple formats (graphics, video, animation), overseeing the full content lifecycle from concept to deployment
  • Maintain and optimize a multimedia content calendar across key channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
  • Lead continuous improvement of attraction and recruitment tools, templates, and processes (job descriptions, posting practices, interview and screening materials)
  • Leverage creative and recruitment technology to track engagement, optimize campaigns, and improve candidate reach
  • Develop and support attraction initiatives such as virtual and on-site hiring events and pre-start onboarding strategies
  • Monitor hiring trends and market intelligence across the U.S. and Canada to inform talent strategies
  • Track and report on key metrics to measure the effectiveness of employer brand and attraction campaigns
  • Manage vendor partnerships and related contracts supporting the talent brand portfolio
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects that elevate the Talent Acquisition function and provide ad hoc recruitment support as needed

What you'll need to be successful.
  • A combination of education and hands-on experience that prepares you for a talent attraction or creative role (post-secondary education is an asset, but not required, while a high school diploma is coupled with applicable experiences)
  • 1+ years of experience in talent acquisition, employer branding, marketing, or communications-through work, internships, co-ops, agency, freelance, or campus involvement
  • Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to translate culture, values, and purpose into compelling talent messaging and campaigns
  • Understanding of how candidates discover and engage with employers across channels such as social media, events, career sites, referrals, and early-career programs
  • Curiosity and analytical thinking, with interest or experience in using data, social insights, and metrics to optimize attraction efforts
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience partnering across teams in a dynamic, matrixed environment (CPG or manufacturing exposure is an asset, not a requirement)
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and growth-minded, with enthusiasm for learning, improving processes, and contributing to a strong employer reputation

About the team .
You'll join a collaborative Talent Acquisition team of 20 supporting hiring across our Manufacturing, Corporate, and Early Careers functions. Our team is spread across the US and Canada, working as one unified group to deliver a consistent, high-quality hiring experience.
