Cloud Technical Lead - Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Want to make a difference in your career? Consider this opportunity! We're looking for a Technical Lead to join our Cloud team who is passionate about cloud services and software delivery with strengths in continuous delivery, cloud-native architecture, and automation.
Reporting to the Manager, DevOps & Cloud Services, you will be a member of the DevOps & Cloud Platforms team and will be primarily responsible for supporting the team with respect to LCBO's multi-cloud production environment, including build sufficient maintenance and deploying pipelines, releases, automation maintenance scripts and more.
About the Role
- Work with teams such as Platform Services, IT Networking, Enterprise Architects and Security, IAM to design and integrate cloud services, enabling secure operations in the cloud environment
- Code to automate system-level deployment using tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Implement continuous code and infrastructure delivery on cloud using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Collaborate with the product team to design, architect and deliver cloud solutions and infrastructure engineering using modern DevSecOps methodologies and best practices
- Deploy, automate, and manage multi-cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP/SkyTap) based systems to ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security
- Monitor, test, and improve the backup and recovery operations
- Document and develop standard operating procedures
- Make recommendations and provide continuous systems and process improvements to the internal product team
- Provide technical guidance and expertise on how to optimize cloud applications (performance and cost) and CI/CD pipelines to the internal product team.
- Develop and maintain a disaster recovery plan in relation to cloud services and systems
- Stay current with cloud technology and recommend improvements to the product infrastructure that strive to result in cost reduction and increased performance.
About You
- 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience of infrastructure engineering on any cloud of Azure, AWS and GCP.
- 3+ years of DevOps experience on Cloud
- Ability to support most of cloud products and services.
- At least one of the most popular programming languages
- Have good understanding of Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, PowerShell, Microsoft Entra ID, Identity and Access Management, Virtualization, Certificate (public and private PKI), DNS, Web Application Gateway, TCP/IP networking and Routing
- Experience working with Kubernetes and Elastic is strongly preferred
