The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Bilingual HR Advisor to join our People and Culture team.

Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner, the Bilingual HR Advisor will initially be assigned to a project that will involve a large volume of administrative and documentation work. After project completion, this role will be responsible for advisory work for a large internal client and advise People Leaders across a broad spectrum of human resources initiatives. The advisory work will involve assisting the HR team to raise the bar on talent management and supporting the company’s drive to maintain our high-performance culture.

What your day looks like:

  • Proactively engage with all stakeholders, interpret needs, determine requirements, and identify and support the delivery of solutions for various HR-related matters
  • Actively build rapport and working relationships with assigned client groups
  • Contribute to the design, roll-out, and training of new programs, initiatives, and systems-related processes
  • Oversee document management for HR processes, including New Hire Packages, Employee Change Forms, Performance Management, Disability, Departure Forms, etc.
  • Manage HR data in various HR systems
Requirements

Your experience and skills:

  • Post-secondary education in administration or business, with a focus in HR is preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of HR coordinator/administrator experience is required
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry would be an asset
  • Solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite; including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required
  • “Can-do” attitude, a thirst for knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively within the team is required
  • Commitment to service excellence with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships is required
  • Ability to exercise discretion and handle highly sensitive and confidential information is required
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment is required
  • Flexibility to meet changing needs and manage multiple deadlines is required
  • Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team is required
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry would be an asset
  • Fluent communication skills in both English and French are required

Salary

This position is posted with an expected salary range of $77,000 - $95,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
