Are you driven by cloud architecture and delivering exceptional client experience? Do you want to apply your consulting expertise to complex and challenging projects?

We are looking for a results-driven and innovative Azure Technical Architect for our Vancouver office to design and implement Microsoft Azure solutions based on clients' requirements and best practices! You will leverage your strong business and technical consulting skills to architect and implement proven solutions that solve business challenges. 

A Day in the Life:

• Support Long View’s Microsoft portfolio by working with customers and internal stakeholders, defining customer solutions, and delivering engagements that are innovative and exceed business requirements
• Continuously improve team processes to ensure information is of the highest quality, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team
• Design, architect and implement standard best practices or custom cloud technical solutions including the supporting networking, virtualization, server, storage and backup solutions by understanding client requirements through business and technical consulting skills
• Collaborate with other team members to develop and enhance deliverables
• Creating detailed documentation including conceptual design, logical design, physical design, bill of materials, as-built diagrams and documents, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, and transition to operations information
• Managing different Cloud platforms including Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and various environments including public, private, and hybrid
• Automating Azure tasks using PowerShell
• Supporting pre-sales engagements and qualification of sales opportunities
• Attending and representing Long View at industry events

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of industry experience working as a subject matter expert in the Microsoft technology stack
• 3+ years of experience advising on, managing and/or successfully delivering cloud solutions, specifically Azure (IaaS, PaaS or SaaS)
• Familiarity with Microsoft architecture principles and industry frameworks such as Cloud Adoption Framework
• Proven ability to understand and capture complex business requirements to create technical solutions
• Ability to demonstrate the right balance of technical, analytical and communication skills when presenting to a wide range of stakeholders from executive level to end-user
• Self-motivation and a desire to be interactive and adaptable in a collaborative working environment
• Ability to grasp new technology concepts rapidly and assess their relevance to business needs as well as managing multiple projects through to completion while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
• Experience with scripting, PowerShell or other tools
