Our Canadian operation, Canaccord Genuity Corp., is currently looking for an Associate, Reconciliations to join our team on a full-time permanent basis in our Toronto or Vancouver office. This position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented person capable of working independently in a high-volume environment. The successful candidate must possess very strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile and balance Canaccord’s Bank accounts;
- Reconcile and balance Custody accounts;
- Respond to queries of minimal to moderate complexity;
- Trade Input and amendments;
- Communicate adjustments with internal partners (Trader’s, IA’s (or Assistants) and support staff) in a timely and professional manner;
- Update statistics;
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 1+ years of related industry experience preferred;
- Detail oriented, with superior analytical and problem solving skills;
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong data entry skills; accuracy and efficiency is required;
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook;
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
- Ability to be self-motivated and work effectively under pressure;
- Working knowledge of Clearing and Reconciliation Reports an asset;
- Knowledge of Dataphile system, CDS and DTC an asset.
