Role Description:
The Assistant Community Manager supports the day-to-day operations of a residential mobile home park community. This role assists in ensuring the property is well maintained, residents are supported, and community standards are consistently upheld. The position plays a key role in resident relations, administrative support, maintenance coordination, and enforcement of community rules and policies.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the daily operations of the community, including resident services, inquiries, and issue resolution.
Support communication with residents regarding notices, community updates, and compliance matters.
Coordinate and follow up with contractors and vendors to ensure maintenance and service requests are completed in a timely manner.
Conduct site inspections and report maintenance, safety, or bylaw concerns.
Assist with enforcement of community rules, regulations, and lease agreements in a fair and consistent manner.
Support move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and documentation.
Maintain accurate records, files, and administrative documentation related to residents and property operations.
Assist in preparing notices, reports, and correspondence as required.
Support emergency response procedures and after-hours issues when required.
Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-managed community environment.
Experience and Qualifications:
Passion for excellence in customer service delivery;
Administrative and Property Management experience an asset;
Two years relevant experience and post-secondary education preferred;
Ability to communicate with co-workers and supervisors effectively and professionally, both oral and written;
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and follow-up is required;
Superior ability to develop and sustain cooperating working relationships with staff, contractors, the public, and especially residents;
Familiarity with smart phone and tablet technology.
Knowledge of Yardi Voyager and MS Office preferred
Self-starter with high degree of initiative, flexibility, and professionalism.
The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $50,000, – $55,000.
The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, education and training, the market compensation of the role, and the consideration to internal equity.
